For the first 10 days of Ramadan, we are enthusiastic about fasting while looking forward to iftars at the end of the day and pray the Qiyam at night. We feel pumped to take advantage of such a special month and be closer than ever to Allah. However, after the first ten days, we hit a sort of slump. We start feeling tired and sluggish, and a little less motivated to do religious acts.
In this lecture, Shaykh Abdulbary Yahya talks about how to get our motivation back and get over the mid-Ramadan slump, and increase our good deeds this Ramadan.
