There are some weekends that leave behind more than just memories. They leave behind reminders that stay in the heart long after the halls have emptied, the booths have been packed away, and the journey home has ended.
Tertib Publishing had the honour of being part of several meaningful gatherings under our Tertib Across Borders journey, bringing together hearts from different places through beneficial reminders, reflection, and the pursuit of closeness to Allah (s.w.t.).
A Journey Across Borders
Our journey began on 30 April 2026 in Sabah for Mufti Menk Live in Sabah, held at the Sabah International Convention Centre, Kota Kinabalu.
From there, we continue to the Philippines on 3 May 2026 for The Faith Conference: Beyond Imagination Jannah at the Philippine Trade Training Center, featuring renowned speakers Mufti Menk, Adnaan Menk and Ibraheem Menk.
The following week, the journey continued in Kuala Lumpur for a 2-day event. On the first day, we had a session with all 3 renowned speakers for The Faith Conference: Beyond Imagination Jannah. On the second day, we had an inclusive talk by Mufti Menk with the topic When Life Humbles You.
Each city brought a different atmosphere, different people, and different experiences, yet the purpose remained the same— to gather for reminders that reconnect us to Allah (s.w.t.).
Beyond Imagination Jannah
One of the most powerful themes throughout the conference was the reminder that this world was never meant to fully satisfy the believer.
During the sessions, the speakers reflected on the reality that no matter how much success, comfort, or wealth we achieve in this world, the human heart will always continue searching for more.
But the pursuit of Jannah?
That is what truly gives peace.
The talks reminded us that the “Jannah of this world” begins when we know Allah (s.w.t.), submit to Him, and maintain a sincere connection with Him.
One particularly powerful question shared during the conference deeply resonated with many attendees.
“If you achieved everything you ever wanted today, but death was written on your way home, how long did you truly get to enjoy that success?”
It was a gentle but necessary reminder that this dunya is temporary, while our pursuit of the akhirah carries eternal value.
Another comforting reminder shared throughout the sessions was that none of us will enter Jannah because our deeds are perfect. We enter Jannah through Allah’s (s.w.t.) mercy.
And perhaps that is what gives believers hope. Knowing that despite our shortcomings, Allah (s.w.t.) continues to welcome us back every time we sincerely return to Him.
When Life Humbles You
Mufti Menk’s talk, When Life Humbles You: Preparing for What Is Written, centred around humility, destiny, hardship, and trust in Allah’s (s.w.t.) plans.
Mufti Menk reminded us that Allah (s.w.t.) created us from humble beginnings, and that every strength we possess today ultimately comes from Him.
No achievement, title, or success should make us feel greater than others.
One comforting reminder that deeply touched many hearts was: “Crying does not mean you are questioning Allah (s.w.t.).”
We are allowed to feel hurt, grieve, and struggle while still placing complete trust in Allah (s.w.t.).
Another reflection that stayed with many attendees was the reminder that sometimes Allah (s.w.t.) closes doors not to punish us, but to protect us.
At times, we desperately want certain opportunities, relationships, or plans to work out, only to later realise that Allah (s.w.t.) was saving us from pain we could not yet see.
The session became a reminder that true peace is not found in controlling every outcome, but in trusting Allah (s.w.t.) with what has already been written.
Launching Our Latest Books
This meaningful journey also marked the official launch of two new releases:
- Brave Hearts, Bold Steps by Mufti Menk
- Escaping the Shadows by Adnaan Menk
Both books were introduced during the events as reflections for hearts, navigating sincerity, faith, fitnah, struggles, and the journey of returning to Allah (s.w.t.).
Seeing readers connect with these books, visit our booth, and bring home reminders that could benefit them long after the events ended was truly heartwarming for our team.
Thank You for Supporting Us
To everyone who attended the events, visited our booth, purchased books, shared kind words, reposted our content, and supported us throughout this journey — thank you.
Your support means more to us than words can fully express.
Every conversation, every shared reflection, and every smiling face reminded us why we continue striving to spread beneficial knowledge beyond borders.
To Our Team Behind the Scenes
We would also like to extend our deepest appreciation to our incredible coworkers and team members who worked tirelessly behind the scenes throughout this journey.
From travelling across countries and cities, preparing booths, handling logistics, managing crowds, setting up books, creating content, assisting attendees, and ensuring every part of the events ran smoothly, your effort and dedication never went unnoticed.
Events like these are only possible because of the sincere effort of people working quietly behind the scenes.
Thank you for every late night, every sacrifice, every exhausting journey, and every act of teamwork that made this journey successful.
Until the Next Journey
As Tertib Across Borders comes to a close for this chapter, we leave with hearts full of gratitude.
Not just for the success of the events, but for the reminders that benefitted our hearts, too. Because at the end of the day, every journey, every gathering, and every reminder is ultimately about returning to Allah (s.w.t.).
May Allah (s.w.t.) continue to allow us to spread beneficial knowledge, strengthen hearts through reminders, and gather people upon goodness wherever we go.
Until next journey, inshaAllah 💜
